News - Is Warzone 2. 0 Actually Good. Warzone 2 Review & Feedback
Again, sort of a two-for-one dislike. So the loot really needs to be streamlined, more with the body bag system, and just being able to pick things up off of the ground; it needs to be like a proximity loot, menu, or something like that, if you will. That's also like the body bag system, where you can just easily pick things up out of there or something; I don't know that, but that's been a huge nuisance to my gameplay so far uh .
No real stats in warzone 2 doesn␙t make sense
The lack of a combat record or a real combat record with, you know, wins tracking and showing your KD and stuff is obviously available in multiplayer after the season one update and not at launch, even though it's a pretty basic feature, and is also not readily available here in War Zone 2, so I feel like that is kind of whack.
I mean, it's 2022; statistics shouldn't be a thing that comes six months after launch or anything crazy like that, uh the lack of quality of life updates that we saw in War Zone 1.
No custom perks in warzone 2.0
Not really; it is a disappointment. Another thing that I find to be very weird is that you can't make your own perk packages.
For what it's worth, I think if you could make your own perk packages, there are going to be some combinations that are way too overpowered. Because Overkill is a perk one perk and Ghost is a perk three perk, you could get Ghost and Overkill right away on one loadout or one class setup and have that for the entire game. I don't think the way that perks are balanced in their categories between Tier 1 and Tier 2 would work for perk packages, so maybe that's why we have all these preset ones, but then these preset ones kind of suck, like the only Overkill option has terrible perks for Perk 2 and Perk 3 that I don't want to use, so I can't use them, and the other combinations don't really fit a necessary play style for a lot of people, so I just don't like having to pick and choose and like having to compromise for no real reason, like I feel like we should be able to make our own perk packages.
The plating system is very slow
One thing that I found to be kind of tedious in the game is that you're not able to plate up while running, so if you want to put on plates, you basically have to walk at a snail's pace. You can't break through doors or windows. It's gotten me killed several times. It really slows down gameplay.
I'm not sure why that was a needed change. Being able to play and run at the same time makes for much more fun engagements, and in my opinion, that's something that absolutely needs to be changed.
Warzone 2.0 stability issues
The last thing here that I think needs addressed, and this is a very important one, is the general stability of the game, whether it be lobbies not filling or lobbies starting with 40 players less than what the maximum player account is.
The server is lagging for the first five minutes of gameplay, where everyone's on 140 ping, and it's like you're playing on a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation instead. For a 2022 article game, the stability of the server connection is not great so far, but I'm hoping that's something that can be addressed very quickly because it's pretty integral when it comes to having a decent gameplay experience.
So yes, there are some very fun things about War Zone 2, but as is a common theme with Call of Duty, the positives are oftentimes overshadowed and outweighed by the negatives of the game, and with Warzone 2, it just doesn't seem like it had enough time. There are certain things that this game launched without that I just feel like it shouldn't.
Things that games launch without when they have the development time that we've supposedly had for Warzone 2, it seems very bare bones, and that's disappointing, to say the least, so hopefully, we see some big changes and some big upgrades to Warzone 2's gameplay here in the future. As I mentioned earlier, as we see any new updates or news that drops for potential updates, I'll have you guys covered with all of that along the way.
