News - Is The Ttk Warzone 2i Good. Slow Vs Fast Time To Kill

Intro

Intro

So another Call of Duty means another year of either complaining or praising the time to kill, and thankfully, this year is going to be full of prayers for the time to kill within Modern Warfare 3.

Why slow ttk is great

Like in Modern Warfare 2 previous Modern Warfare 2 the one that just came out last year I felt like your accuracy at longer distances like it really depends how far the distance was if it was very far off then yes okay sure your accuracy will matter but once you get to like medium range and especially close range you do not need to care about how accurate you are you will definitely be able to kill people as long as you know you get those first two shots on which usually happens, with how heavy the aim assist was and of course this game the aim assist is not that heavy so when you combine that with a slower time to kill you really have to be accurate in this game and I'm noticing a lot of people who are really getting frustrated with the game because they're just not able to hit their shots, and they're blaming the time to kill for it but in reality.

That just means you have to get better, like, honestly, I'm. I know it's like a very cliche answer, like everyone always says just get good, but it's a pretty decent response because, yeah, that's part of Call of Duty. You're supposed to try to get better and perform better so you can have better games later on.

That's kind of just part of how Call of Duty has always worked. Another big reason I love slower time to kill is because it actually makes it so rushing is encouraged. You're not as encouraged to camp and move around the map very slowly; you can run around freely and not really worry about getting like two shots across the map.

You can actually do a lot of crazy things, especially with the, you know, increased movement speeds, so when you combine that together, it makes for just some really incredible gameplay that I'm just really having a blast with, and I think one of the other main things that also makes a big difference with slower time to kill is gunfights.

Actually exist and I do really have fun in gunfights, between other players I think that's a good thing I don't like when the gunfight ends in like you know less than 100es milliseconds or I guess in you know most cases for Call of Duty it was like 150 milliseconds or so this Call of Duty it's more like 250 to 300 milliseconds, which is closer to the slower time to kill Call of Duty games, and I think that's fantastic because you actually have situations, where you and another enemy are shooting at each other, some of you are hitting your shots some of you are not but you're not instantly dying so you have that little bit of you know a little bit of gunfight there, and especially when you combine that with other players and such it just I just love that gameplay flow I think it makes the pacing of the match a lot better as well, and since you're just in the action longer, there's less of that, you know, getting insta killed and having to go all the way back to your spawn and running back to the action, getting insta killed again, no matter if you keep dying.

At least you're part of the action for a longer period of time , and you might be wondering to yourself, Fusion, you've made so many articles like this before. I've seen you talk about time to kill and the importance of it many, many times, so why are you making this article? What new thing do you have to offer, or are you just recycling articles for the sake of it?

And I do have something new to offer, which I'm about to mention right now. So in Modern Warfare 3, the thing that I noticed while playing this game with the slower time to kill is that I found myself not caring about a lot of other design choices. Because of the time to kill and these design choices I cared about in the other Call of Duty that had a faster time to kill, let me give you some examples.

black ops cold war

One of the main things is mounting. I really hated mounting in Modern Warfare 2019, Vanguard, and Modern Warfare 2. it was not available in Cold War so we didn't get to experience it with that slow time to kill in Cold War we only got to experience it in those other Call of Duty games that I just mentioned which all have relatively faster time to kills especially compared to Cold War and Modern Warfare 3 and I really hated mounting I hated how it encouraged camping and I hated how you could just like put up your gun to the Mount thing we can use like any really, any gun in the game you can use MP5 you can use whatever it may be and you can pretty much instakill people across the map because time to kill is really short, and of course You get no recoil when you mount, so when you combine those together, it's just really frustrating, and I don't like that mechanic.

black ops cold war zombies

In this game, though. I've been mounting myself a lot, and I've been seeing other players doing it, and I don't mind it as much because they're not insta killing across the map; they still have to put enough shots into the player to at least make a difference. I don't see it being a game-breaking mechanic anymore, which is kind of crazy to me, and mounting is not the only thing.

Another thing that I really did not like in some of the other Call of Duty games was doors; now doors are just really frustrating again, something that was not in Cold War; it was only in Modern Warfare 2: Mon War for 2019 and Vanguard. It was kind of in cold war with like the fire team modes, but that doesn't really count the same way, and then, of course, in Vanguard, you could actually destroy the doors, which I thought was a better mechanic than not being able to destroy them obviously.

blackout

But in this game we have doors again and I wasn't crazy to hear that I didn't like those mechanics in the other Call of Duty games but I don't see it as such a big problem anymore because the time to kill is slower, and one of the biggest issues with doors was the fact that let's say someone's camping out in a room and has all the doors closed now if you now walk into that room they're hear that giant slam of the door when you open the door even if you creep the door open a little bit which is just kind of annoying like no one wants to play that tactically in a Call of Duty, arcade shooter unless you're playing search and Destroyer but if you're playing any other respawn mode you don't want to tactically go through every door you come across so normally you just barge in through the door and if someone was just aiming down at the door you would be insta- killed with that fast time to kill of course but, when you now have the slow time to kill.
