So if you've just joined Backwater Zone 2 after the Shika Island update, this article is going to tell you how to get the best possible aim inside Warzone 2.0. To start off, we're going to give you the basic controller settings, and then after that, we're going to give you some general tips that will help you improve your aim inside Warzone.

So first of all, obviously, you want to make sure your controller then when it comes to button layout, you've got a lot of new options. You can either choose the default options that we have here, which depend on the kind of controller you're using; if you've got back buttons that you use, take advantage of having them on your controller; if not, you can also set a custom button layout so you can actually switch the buttons that you use for certain things.

So if you think it'll be easier to ping with a different button, for example, if you wanted to swap it for down instead of up, or if you want to slide with, you can change the button that you slide with, for example, you can change all of that. With this, it's actually really good that they've added these extra button layouts for you now, and it will help you stay on target with your aim if you do change some of these buttons around.

Just find out what's most comfortable for you because it's going to depend on player to player; personally, I like to just play with the defaults. default I've gotten used to playing like that now, so I don't really want to change it. Piping can be useful again, but I'd rather you go in and actually tune this yourself with a custom button layout flipped.

Is useful and even helps your aim, especially if you want to get the shots off a lot quicker. If you use the bumpers instead of the triggers, you actually get a quicker response time in the game, but personally, I still like just using the triggers. I think it just feels better to me, uh, and then when it comes to stick settings, you want to leave the default controller orientation unless you are using it for any other reason, then up should be the default vibration setting and definitely off, and then we are getting into the actual aim settings here, so when it comes to the actual aim.

I think five, six, seven, and eight are the best ranges to have your horizontal and vertical sticks keep them exactly the same because it just keeps it more consistent and personally. I use seven sometimes. I use six; it just depends on the kind of day I'm having, to be honest with you, but I'm between six and seven.

But like I said, five, six, and seven already are really good options, and when it comes to the sensitivity multiplier, of course, you don't really want to touch this one because when we get to the advanced tab, we'll fine-tune that even further. Vertical, Air Maxes—you don't really want to touch that either with aim, down sight, or holding while moving.

On to the advanced tab, now we're going to be going over the target MSS, which you do want on Black Ops or default. These are the best and only two options because they still give you rotational aim assist, and we made a whole article breaking this down. Black Ops was a bit more broken, and I think they nerfed it a couple updates ago, so you could choose between default or Black Ops, both of which are good options.

Aim Assist, you definitely want this on, as well as third person, only if you do play the third person mode, so I mean, that's going to come down to preference. I, for one, prefer Assist; in response curves, I prefer Dynamic, and I'll show you why in just a moment, but standard is also very good, as well as linear, which is not so great.

Again, we made a whole article breaking that down, so I'll leave that link at the end of this one. Ads multiplier Focus Just leave it normal ads, transition timing, which you want to leave as instant because you want to make sure your ads are as quick as possible or at the same speed as what your guns ads time is essentially, and then this is where you want to fine tune the zoom levels, so anything below a three-point zoom or maybe a four-point zoom you do want to make sure it's between 0.7 and 0.9.

I think that's a really good range, and it slows down the aim a little bit further for you so you get a bit more control, and then when it comes to anything higher than that, you want to actually up the sensitivity the opposite way, and the reason for that is because you are sniping. Usually, with these optics, being able to swipe across with your analog stick and get that sticky aim is really handy at getting those shots landed.

Inputs Dead Zone: You do want to change this as well, and I think 0.05 is really good if you've got a new controller. Bump this up slightly if you've got an older controller because that is obviously your dead zone and where you tend to get stick drift, and then triggers: You also want to lower this as well because it will help you get a bit more of a response.

In your shooting triggers gyro, I have it off because this is mainly for if you want to use the gyroscope inside the controller itself. I don't really know anyone who'd really want to use this unless you have some kind of disability or something. The next thing to make sure your aim stays on point in this game is to choose the correct guns with the correct attachments and the correct tuning, and we've got tons of articles already on the channel going over best-class setup, so we don't really want to cover that, but to give you a rough idea, the M4 is really good for recoil control attacks, and the 56 is one of the best.

We also do have guns, like the M13 and the Hemlock, that are also very good at range, and some of the LMGs are also very good at range. The Rao and the RPK are still relatively easy to manage as well, but the TTK isn't great. I'll quickly show this in the fighting range now and give some quick tips to get you better at the game.

Actually get a bit of a snappier response than if you just left it as default, so that is why I prefer this option, and then when you do switch between targets, something that no one really talks about and I haven't really mentioned it before either is that you actually want to stop firing between the targets, so you shoot one target, stop firing, and then start firing again, and it basically makes it easier for you to stay on target the reason why is because you're not having to control the recoil as you transition from target to target.

Now, when you're using a gun that is easy to use, like attack 56, it doesn't really matter other than the fact that you will be wasting bullets, but when you are using a bit more difficult to use, you will need to stop fighting during this time, and you just need to learn taking that, so once you kill a target, stop firing, then start fighting again, and obviously you want to be landing your shots there.
