Welcome back to a brand new article. In this one, we're going to be diving into the season 2 battle pass. Also, I did upload a couple hours ago, going over the entire season 2 road map overview. We talked about the upcoming maps, modes, and weapons, the new features, and everything else that is expected, and that entire blog post is covered.
I'll have it linked down. Below is the description; definitely check it out if you still don't know much about the season 2 update. Anyway, the main topic of this article is talking about the season 2 battle pass.

You know the price of it will cost you $1,00. Cod points out that they have confirmed that in the blog post, so the price will not change.
I will also offer Black Cell, which is a premium version of the battle pass. It will include everything that you get from the standard, and then on top of that, there's going to be additional reward rewards such as new operator skin variants, a new operator itself with brand new finishing move voice lines, and all that unique stuff, and that will cost you $29.99 USD.
I got a little bit of detail on the black cell, so let me talk about that first. You'll be able to get John Doe This is the new black cell operator skin that will be available. What comes in with this is that you're going to get him, you're going to get a brand new finishing move called the knuckle sandwich, and you're going to get the molten black cell animated weapon blueprint, which will be for the SVA 545.
AR You'll also get the Rayim Black Cell animated weapon blue blueprint, which will be for the Sidewinder battle rifle, and on top of that, you will also get 1,00 Cod points. This is apparently the biggest black cell offering that they've ever offered in Call of Duty history, and they mentioned that there's going to be a total of over 20 unique black cell rewards, including 11 exclusive or alternate operator skins and six alternate animated weapon blueprints with tracers.
This is also on top of the standard 110 regular battle pass items that you will get. Something else that makes Black Cell a little bit different is that this time around the operators are reactive, so they start off as humans, and as you get eliminations, they slowly turn into zombies, and then finally, on top of that, they turn into skeletal states as you rack up even more eliminations.
You can expect a lot more black cell content. They're going to go over the entire operators, the battle pass, and all those details on Monday. They usually drop a separate blog post for that type of stuff, but this is the early preview that we got for that. Jumping into the next thing, this is the standard battle pass and all the operators that will come along with it.

The first operator skin that you will unlock is going to be Rick Grimes, and he will be available as a battle pass instant reward. What this means is that as soon as you purchase the battle pass, there's a sector called Sector Zero. This usually has around one to two different operator skins, usually the main characters of that season, and they are available automatically upon purchase, and then after that, you'll need to grind the battle pass in order to unlock the rest of the rewards.
Rick Gmes has been confirmed to be one of these instant reward operators. They give a short description of him, but he's basically the main character in the Walking Dead series, Modern War Zone. Charlie Intel got early access to the battle pass, and they showcase what the operator for Rick Grimes will look like as well as the black cell variant of this operator skin.
If you choose to get a black cell, then the second operator that you unlock is going to be Kate Lazell, which we talked about in the leaks. We knew that she was going to be the main character when it comes to the season, and it's looking like the leaks were accurate because she will be an instant battle pass reward that you will also unlock.
They also showcase Kate Lazell in the regular version, and then there's the black cell variant of her, which looks like she's a skeleton, basically, and it matches that whole theme, but one thing I also want to let you know is that Michonne from The Walking Dead is coming in with Rick; she's not going to be available in the battle pass; the only two that are available are going to be Rick Grimes, as well as Kate Well, that's going to be the instant reward she's going to receive, apparently in the store, costing $2400.
Cod points I just wanted to let you know about that, and then going on to the rest of the battle pass skins, there's going to be carries. This was originally going to be a warlord, and once again, they're following the same pattern where they introduce them as a warlord but also as a battle pass reward, which we saw with Doabe.
So that's another operator that you can expect to see. There was also the tease operator skin from the artwork: the guy who's covered in the Ghillie outfit; he's also going to be available in the battle pass that's at sector B8. Other than these brand new operators, it looks like there's some existing upcoming ones, so for example, we have Task Force 141; the first one that I noticed was at sector B17.
It looks like Ghost is going to have a new operator skin variant for him, and that's going to be the one from MW 2019. It doesn't look like this is Jean Ghost, but it looks like it's that OG version of him, and then on top of that, we have Captain Price, who is shown at Sector B16. It looks like he's wearing some sort of mask as well as a hood on his head, and then another operator, who looks to be soap, is wearing a metal helmet, and he looks completely covered.
It looks sort of like that Jugger Knog type of outfit, and it's plated in gold or yellow. There was another photo that was teased in the blog post, so I'm showing you guys these photos as well so you get a better understanding and idea of what these operator skins are going to look like, and then there's this other character, which could either be Valeria or far because they're both mentioned operators that are going to be available in the black cell as well, so that could be one of them, but I'm not entirely sure which one it is, and then at sector B20.
That is, another operator looks like there's a plastic bag covering their face. I have absolutely no idea who that even is, but that's probably going to be like a skin variant for an existing operator we already have in the game, and then when you take a look at Sector 100, it looks to me like we have a version of Ghost and a version for Warden.
