News - Warzone 2 Zombies Red Worm Boss Fight Easter Egg Guide: Legendary Schematics Unlock
Is how to complete the secret red worm boss fight USB Easter egg, allowing you to unlock the rest of the legendary rare schematics in the game, like the legendary EA tool, the pat-free crystal, and the scorcher blueprint, and craft these and bring them in immediately in a future game. So as mentioned this is a USB Easter egg where around the map you're going to be finding four different stations that will contain a different USB drive labeled alpha bravo charlie and Delta but you don't need to guess the locations for any of these as there are two places on the map that you can go where there is a vis, map on the wall that shows photos of all four locations that you need to visit the first spot can be found in the top left of the map above Le Resort and you'll find it here on this wall you can also go to this building in all of military base where you will also find the same wall of photos in the same game you're going to find a desk which is going to contain a map of the entirety of zikan.
As well as four photographs detailing the four locations you're going to need to travel to find each of these USB drives. At first, these photographs are going to appear quite vague, but if you look at them in detail, you can then match them, which will give you a specific location on the overall big map and give you a really easy indication of where exactly you need to go.
If you get that same photo, it's going to take you to here, which is labeled zlv. Array, which is above the entire military base right, tucked in the top right of the map, and after interacting with it, you'll get your second USB. The next location we're going to go to is the image we had in the top left, which is going to pop off power.
The reference image for this was that it was between two big circular buildings, and as you can see, we found it right here, and it's in this exact location. By this little bed of water, if you get that photo in your game, then go ahead and interact with the console, and it will spit out another USB, and at this point there's only one more USB that you need to get, so we're looking at the bottom right photo in our game, and we can see that this has a dome, a circular roof on top of a building, and this is in the Tier 3 Zone, and it's going to be right over here in the middle near one of these ammo caches, and here we go.
This is our final console, so we interact with it, and then we get our final USB. Now, if your photos weren't in this article at this point, don't worry, because I'm going to show you all the other locations. So there is another location within the Tier 3 zone, and it is right here on the map, right near one of the Wonderers locations, and it's going to be on the ground level.
There is also another location in the Tier 2 zone, the city area, for a USB key, and it's on the roof of this broken building here, where it's mostly rubble and you can mantle to get onto the roof, and there's a chance that it could be there if it's referenced in one of your photos. Another location you can find is in the top left corner of the map, right near the building where we actually have the map on the wall.
It's right here by this statue, and you can see it just to the side there, the station where you can interact with and get that USB key. If you get this photo of what looks like two long buildings, you need to come to the bottom left of the map to this section here, where, up on the roof, you will find another one of these UAV towers.
If you get a photo that looks like this, you need to go just to the right of the sea port district, and you'll find the console lying right here in between. For all of those buildings, if you get a photo that looks like this, you need to go to the bottom right of the map, just behind the mana, and on this shack, you will notice the console there.
Finally, if you get a photo that looks like this, you need to go to Hia, the farms between all of these small huts, and outside, you'll find the tower there if you need any help with the photos. Beyond this, be sure to use the map in the description, but this is where the next part of the Easter egg comes in because now that you have all four of the USBs, you're going to need to go and find the stations that are going to be situated somewhere on the map where you're going to need to insert these keys.
Typically, this will always be somewhere. Near the storm, wherever it is on the map, and you know exactly where these are because you'll see two ammo caches right next to each other, so open your map, go and look for the storm, and then zoom in and look around that storm area to see where you see two ammo caches next to each other, as that's where you're going to need to go.
So in our game, it brought us to this location, where clearly we can see the two ammo caches, and you'll see a load of these stations situated right near the ammo cache. If we go up to them, it says refractor requires active eepa storm, so the way that this Easter Egg works is that you're now going to have to wait until the timer in the game ticks down all the way to zero before we can continue with this Easter egg quest, so at this point it is highly advisable.
To start farming some contracts, get yourself a load of points so you can get all the necessary perks. Pack-a-Punch, And reliability upgrades, along with the most important thing of all being to have a durable gas mask. Because this entire boss fight is going to take place within the storm, and if you don't have a strong enough gas mask, you are going to run out, and obviously you'll start to take damage inside the storm, and you won't be able to actually survive to beat the boss.
It's because this is without question the hardest worm boss fight yet in Modern Warfare 3 zombies. Like you thought the Act 4 story worm was hard, this is extremely, extremely hard, and so I've gone in here with an lmg, and I highly recommend you bring in a weapon like an assault rifle or lmg that has a ton of ammunition, so that you can just constantly fire in a ton of damage to the worm, but skipping ahead to when the storm finally starts coming, the moment it takes over any of these refractors, you can go up to them and activate them.
You need to activate all four using all four of the USB keys that we picked up earlier. Once all four refractors have been activated, you'll hear in-game quotes from Barrera and Renov. A load of zombies will start spawning, and depending on what threat zone you're in, the zombies in here will be one fret higher, so for us, that was Tier 2 zombies, and then after a minute or so, the new red worm boss called Grey will spawn, and this thing has an incredible amount of health in comparison to any other previous worm bosses.
