News - Warzone 2 New Update Download, 3 Bonus Maps & Weapon Vault Revealed. Season 1 Content
This is DK Dynamite, and this morning we're going to be talking about the new update download and surprise content in Modern Warfare 3. Docomond. All the content you're seeing here on the channel is just in the form of articles for the website and plenty of tweets every single hour on detonated Twitter.
With that being said, as of yesterday, we got a brand new playlist update for MW3 multiplayer. Like I mentioned before, it does look like Wednesdays are being reserved now for the start of new events and whatever other special festivities they have planned for the season , whereas Thursdays now are when they go ahead and update the playlist for multiplayer.
New update & playlists added
War Zone, and also when they release some little patch notes.
Now in multiplayer, we have Rusman 24/7, as you're seeing gameplay here in the background. Thankfully, since we had a Meet 24/7 playlist as of last week, I'm sure they'll bring it back since it was very well received. We also have a MH pit, and then all or nothing now, unfortunately. The release of All or Nothing was fairly broken.
The mode wasn't really working the way that it was intended to. I mean, the ability to pick up a MAG off of dead enemies that you kill with your knife that just wasn't present in the mode, and then after playing one match on stream, my entire game broke and just wouldn't open correctly.
The new mw3 download & content patch
PlayStation Size did go and report on a brand new patch that got added to the database for MW3, Update 1.36, which a lot of us out there did download as of yesterday.
With the recent updates. I believe it added in a little bit more for the upcoming Christmas update on December 20th, but I don't believe that was the full patch for the Christmas update on December 20th, so definitely expect at least one more patch in the next few days, which would be very important to kind of close out 2023.
And that, of course, isn't the official patch for season 1 reloaded, which is going to be released. I think it's like January 14th or 16th in the middle of the month, so that'll of course be another separate patch in early 2024. We also got a trailer for.
Trailer & free pack for mw3 lockpick
There will be an alternate look for the lockpick operator here, MW3. And then what I would hope for is a bit of a change at the end of 2024, where instead of re-releasing all the combat packs for 1100, 18800 Cod points, just do them all for free for Xbox and PC since the bundles were free for PS+ owners anyway, and also have the ability right if a player out there has a PlayStation and a PC or a PlayStation and an Xbox have it to where if they log in on a Playstation, download the bundle, and then it's in their bundle.
Locker will then be able to take that content to another platform. It's silly that for those out there that have some of the combat packs on Playstation, they can't then equip the content on PC or Xbox after the year of exclusivity has concluded. It's a weird little cloud in their contract, I suppose, where they just don't allow us to do that.
Hopefully that changes later now. What's also really interesting is the patch notes, which we'll be going over deeper into this article.
First dlc weapon vault for mw3 revealed
Did mention the GG Easy Weapon Vault for MW3 and the fact that players purchased it? They now have a cooperating optic or a fix to one of the attachments that was broken when I first read that. I'm like, Wait a second, a GG easy weapon vault. What it means is that there haven't been any weapon vaults added to MW2 or 3.
The only vaults that we've seen are through the vault additions that we got for MW2 and 3 later in MWW's life cycle, though we did see the addition of universal wraps, which were kind of like weapon vaults where you can interchange the attachments without losing the look of the blueprints, but only for one specific weapon, whereas weapon vaults allow you to do that across several different weapons, so you get several blueprints for one weapon vault where the attachments are interchangeable.
Among those specific weapons, now we're actually getting them for the first time in a bundle. I suppose mw3 season 1, since apparently some folks out there might have purchased that bundle early.
Juggernaut royale returning to warzone
Royale is a mode that I swear we haven't seen since maybe the Verdance days, unless, for whatever reason, my memory is shot right now, and we did see Juggernaut Royale and Alaza. I doubt that we did, but this is a mode that I think got pretty well received when it did get added back during the COVID War Zone 2020 days, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it's going to play out here on Ekhan.
3 new war maps leaked early for mw3
Now three new war maps are also coming to MW3, and they'll probably be spread out over the course of the next couple of seasons. It's not confirmed that there are only three more war maps, but I wouldn't be surprised if they rounded out the MW3 cycle with four total ones. I believe World War I 2017 had a good five or six, if I'm not mistaken, but apparently we're going to be seeing operations Avalanche, probably a snow map operation, Exodus, and Kuska.
Probably I said that wrong, so these are three different war maps again coming during three different seasons. I doubt they'll add them all at once in one specific season, but according to some of these leakers online, here's some information about one of these missions. It's unclear which mission this is going to be for, but apparently for one of them you have to escort a convoy similar to the current tank one except you got to protect IT specialist targets that one team must eliminate while the other team protects, there will be hostage extraction, and hostages held also valuable intelligence, one team must protect and save the hostages while the other team takes them and xils into a helicopter, so there could be information for just one war mission.
Maybe these are just descriptions that are going to apply to multiple missions, not just one individual who actually knows, but it's good to know that war is going to be getting more support throughout 2024. Now I also want to go over some patch notes before ending this article.
All patch notes for mw3 this week
Starting off with MW3, for Thursday, December 14th, they address an issue experienced by some players that caused items previously unlocked to become available to equip. They also went ahead and fixed the Speedway V5 short barrel for the Ram 7.
If you want to go ahead and equip that in the gunsmith, they've also improved impact detection to prevent inflicting more explosive damage on players than intended. That's for the breacher drone, then for customization. The Crimson Fates and Carbon Fates laser attachment skins will no longer appear as defaults when equipped with shotguns.
