In today's article, we're going to be covering my brand new 556 Icarus built here in Modern Warfare 2. This one is primarily focused around using the LMG statistics and kind of combining them with an assault rifle, so what we're doing is more or less really maximizing that damage range while not having it completely sluggish, which I guess is the best way to put it.
We have some great stray speeds. Our aim-down sight speed isn't all that horrendous, and the recoil is relatively low. Let's get into the attachments, all right? So I'm going to start right here with my rear grip, where you're going to want the x10 for Sprint to fire speed along with aim-down sight speed if you used LMGS.
In this game, you know they are rather sluggish, so you're going to need some aim-down-side speed-like tendencies in order to have it perform like an assault rifle. The tuning, however, is going to be plus 42 towards the recoil steadiness and negative 0.45 towards your sprint to fire speed. Now, heading over here to an optic, I have the AIM Op V4.
That one is just my preferred optic of choice. You don't technically have to run this one if you don't want to, but I prefer to run it. The iron insights tend to be a little bouncy for my liking, and I didn't end up tuning that one. However, if you want to tune it, this is what I would recommend.
You would have it all the way too far, and then you would have your aim set at negative 2.3. I probably would have done it, but I ended up chucking it on, like, right before the game started, and I didn't have the chance to actually tune the attachment, so for the barrel, you're going to want the Ftech Cold Forge that's going to give you damage range, hip fire accuracy, and bullet velocity in order to keep our LMG-like statistics and be able to shoot across the map more effectively.
The tuning is going to be plus 0.40 towards recoil steadiness and negative 0.35 towards the aim-down sight speed for the muzzle you want on the Cronin Maw 86. It's going to give you muzzle flash concealment in order to keep you off the mini map. We also get recoil stabilization and recoil steadiness, which are basically forms of recoil.
The tuning is going to be negative 0.42 towards aim-down sight speed plus 0.23 towards gun kick control. The last attachment is going to be the F-Tac Ripper 56. giving you idle stability, hit-fire accuracy, and recoil steadiness, you can see that large increase in the accuracy side of things in order to control that side-to-side bounce since.
The massive nurse for the raw and the RPK The LMG Meta I suppose it has kind of been wide open. I've seen a lot of people enjoy the wrap on the Icarus and, in some cases, even the rpk, but at the same time, I feel like the 556 Icarus is the best lmg in the weapon class right now.

I hope you guys enjoy So we have the 556 Acres today and we're playing our Museum, not exactly a map I'm a massive fan of, but since I'm going to be playing slow anyways with an LMG. I may as well utilize this map because it's designed wisely. It's not awful, you know. The thing with this map is that the hard points are so far away that it is super difficult to get across the map before they even rotate.
All in all, you just spend most of your time running; he can't fly over; he got the sniper; compromised security area; all right, my teammate has an OverWatch. I'm going to die. All right, we're going I know there's an advanced UAV, but I've got to get out of here; this is not a good move. I've got an AFK right here.
I think he was indeed AFK. There's a guy who should pop up right here. Maybe I'm not 100 percent on that, and there's our MGB. Okay, so it was a good choice to play this map, I suppose. Right after I get smoked, it doesn't matter that he had attacked 56; he had a flat attack 56, so he's got the attachments; he beams with it; he uses that weapon a lot.
I can't be mad. I don't know how you're not dead, and he still ended up getting me. He absolutely sucked bullets up to 46 kills now, so we're definitely making pace trying to guess behind the desk there. Bam, 57 kills. All right, I'm going to try to help the squad this way. I'm going to push from right here and try to break from both sides.
Bam, this guy is there if you can't wall bang it, but we can go for this guy. Good start, nice I don't know if I'll be able to get 75 here. We'll try i don't think I have time here. I might they are contesting. Thank you very much, bam bam, thank you ma'am, give me this MGB, Icarus, a little bit of a slower pace build from my last assault rifle, like more lmg-like, but it definitely did a viable job.
I don't think I'm going to be able to secure any more kills here; that's a negative. One grenade.
