Hvt boss event & mwz rewards!
Has been issued to all available operators, investigate any corpse you find following tracks to a zombie nest of localized zombie activity they are infesting the island destroy the cyst and any zombie hvts before the contract, before the contract completes the exact type of HT may change depending on time and other factors so that's something that I believe is tied to what is known as the hvt event which you can see clearly on the road map I'll pull that up right now, you could see that the hvt event is on the war zone side so yeah weekly zombie Target I believe while doing that eradication contract you will come across the hvt that's why there's an arrow right here clearly connecting the two so do that contract kill zombies I'm sure you get some free loot like a vest or, some money kill streak whatever the case is high valuable weapons but then there's an hbt you can kill that will end up dropping Skull and Bones, once you collect that you will then get what is reportedly Modern Warfare zombie rewards so I believe you'll get exra rewards for the zombie mode but we're not too sure on that yet we'll talk more about that later this week but. That's cool to see more zombie presence over in the new war zone map, but aside from that, we knew this zombie hunt contract of sorts did leak out a couple of weeks ago, so we knew this was coming to Fortune Keep according to the rumors online.
Wonder weapon rogue signal event
But then we have the Rogue Signal public event, which also comes with a decent amount of content here available just for a limited time at launch.
I'm not sure why it's limited time, but within a match, expect the Rogue Signal competitive public event to periodically appear, pitting you against other operators and teams in a 90-degree. Objective based Mission there's cash XP and a special unique reward cach on the line after notification appears expect a new HUD element with an objective a scoreboard and your or your team's placement compared to your Rivals the steps to completion are as follows so first of all unique reward, probably means that's how you're going to get the Wonder Weapons if I had to guess on fortunes but there is a receive objective all teams receive the same task examples include get the most kills deal the most damage to players or open, the most caches complete the objective, all teams can optionally complete the objective within the following 90 seconds the top three teams receive cash prizes of varying amounts and the location of the special reward cash then to claim the reward though the reward cast remains locked for the next 30 seconds whichever team opens the cast first receives the reward rewards are random don't remain with you after the match and for season 2 can include a redacted, a wonder weapon from mwz and redacted so going to hope that one of these redacted statements here is referring to a blueprint that you can permanently unlock.
Zombie powerups in warzone now!
The fact that does say don't remain with you after the match though has me doubtful about that but what else could this reward cash include you know about the wonder weapon but what else could be redacted, hopefully there's a surprise that we just haven't thought of yet but then when it comes to zombies powerups something I also didn't expect but will be available for a limited time haven't seen much discussion about at all anywhere really we're going to be seeing actual powerups from zombies, within war zone so they'll be available across the map and are found by opening certain cashes or eliminating rival operators so that'll be pretty common to my understanding here these power-ups are instantly familiar, look for the hovering glowing objects and move into them to automatically collect them but in terms of what the powerups are we have the obvious ones that we've seen in Zombies hundreds of times double points full armor max ammo and fire sale so those are the ones that we're already well aware about but here are some of the newer ones that I believe also leaked out a few months ago and people speculated these were for actual mwz.
The MW3 Zombies mode, but no, they're actually for War Zone exclusively, so looting spree 60c duration adds bonus items to cashes with a very high chance of a bonus common item and a small but significant chance of an additional legendary item. We then have Zar core 60c duration, which increases movement speed by around 25%.
With infinite tack sprint and reloading while sprinting, it disables fall damage, so that's also pretty helpful, but lastly. Undead sight 45-second duration operators or AI within the range of your vision are highlighted red and friendly squadmates are Blue Tracker footsteps will be active, so they did say to expect possible power of durations to be adjusted during the season cuz you already know a lot of the war zone-specific players or sweats or tournament grinders, they're going to be upset with how these power-ups will alter the game play, so I'm sure throughout the next couple of weeks we'll end up seeing adjustments to how long or how powerful.
These are actual power-ups. Behave in the game, and they'll have to make adjustments over the course of season 2.
Dynamic events & interactable environment
Next up extendable Bridge saw this very clearly in the brand new Fortune keep trailer so in the aftermath of the earthquakes surviving Cony group forces surveyed the damage and soon constructed three extendable bridges over gaps in the Fallen roadways, these are not portable but rather you can extend or retract them across a gap in the road by using a small control console one on either side of the bridge so yeah we get to see how cool these bridges are going to really change up the flow a little bit and map layout of Fortune's keep I'm glad that they gave us some cool narrative with this Resurgence map where yeah con was doing experiments, blew up the island earthquakes happened and then now they're kind of rebuilding and you know going along as they can and kind of adjusting some of the pois as necessary, really excited to see how these do play out when the map does drop but we also have this part fortune favors the bull got a nice clear image there of Michonne or operator bundle isn't due to release until I believe maybe the end of February is but it does say operators with previous fortunes keep combat.
Secret ray gun blueprint & quests
Know that even a cone explosion won't dislodge all the secrets this island has to offer. The latest Intel confirms Wonder Weapons, with limited ammunition support and no restock options that can be acquired under certain circumstances. Redacted weapons are available via several redacted and then multiple redacted that are also active throughout the area of operations.
So I get the hint that there's going to be additional ways in which you can go ahead and get the Wonder Weapons inside the War Zone. Apart from just the contract we mentioned earlier here in the blog post, we have the eradication contract, which I'm sure probably has a chance of giving people a wonder weapon, maybe at least, but for sure, through the Rose Signal public event, there will be that hidden cast that allows you to go ahead and get some very valuable loot that will include a wonder weapon, so I think there'll be multiple ways you can do that, which is really exciting, but.
With that in mind, there's going to probably be some other secrets that we have no idea about just yet. You can clearly see Rayun blueprints in the background of this image, which is awesome, and we saw the wa earlier in the blog, so maybe there's a vr11. I'm not sure what use that would really have.
