News - The Akimbo X13 Auto Pistols Dominate Cqc Warzone 2

A secondary weapon in Warzone 2 might be the best close range gun in the entire game, and to put it bluntly, the x13 auto akimbos are broken in very close quarters fights, and I would argue better than the SMGs, depending on the situation, but let me back up these claims with some stats. So we're over here on the updated true game data where we can look at stats for guns in Warzone 2, and this is a time to kill chart compared to the fennec in the Orange Line and the x13 in the Purple here.

Now you're going to see your TCAP for the Fenix way faster. Well, this is only one X13; it can't calculate having the akimbo or duels, so theoretically, we can take this 715 millisecond ttk of the X13s, cut that in half, and that is 357.5 milliseconds, which is a lot faster than the Fenix; now, we have to keep in mind that these are dual hipfire guns, meaning we cannot aim down sight and we're not going to have perfect accuracy if we're at range, but if you are up in someone's face within about 5 meters of them, you definitely can get almost all of your bullets.

Salient, and you can achieve these absolutely insane killing times that are even faster within the already broken fennec, and that's why I said depending on the situation at very close quarters, the pistols will actually be better than SMGs. But the SMGs will have much more versatility when you're around that kind of eight-plus meter range because they can aim down sight and actually hit all your shots.

Now there is one other benefit of using pistols over an SMG in Warzone 2, and that is, you can shoot off of a ladder with pistols when you're climbing up here, even if you have the akimbos. You can take one of those pistols, aim down sight while you're still on the ladder, and shoot it. You cannot do that with an SMG.

You'd have to climb all the way over the ladder with your SMG if you didn't start shooting, so someone else will. Camping a ladder, they are totally not expecting this move, and it has saved me a few times now when I build these. I build them for both a combination of movement and hip fire, so number one, the one milliwatt laser, really helps tighten that hit fire spread and allows it to be more accurate for the barrel.

I go with the movement. Barrel, there's really no point in running this recoil, control, and bull velocity because we don't need recoil, control, and bull velocity. This is a very close-range build, so I want that extra movement. Speed here Obviously, we don't care about that. You've done site speed, so feet, and a steel fire muzzle that's going to help with our range.

That's the really important thing here. All of these cons are about aiming. We don't aim these guns since there are kimbos, so obviously the akimbo attachment doesn't matter, and then for the mag. I think the 33-round mag is that sweet spot. 50 really slows your movement speed, so I don't think it's worth it, and I don't think 24 is quite enough, so 33 is kind of that sweet spot.

Now the question I have been getting asked a lot is when should I get my pistols versus when should I get my SMG, and my rule of thumb is that if I don't have any of my guns yet If I haven't bought any of my guns yet, if I'm getting a loadout. I'm going to get a non-overcoat. Loadout with a long-range primary such as an rpk for example with these x13.

Autos as my secondary; that way I can get a non-overkill perk package such as the recon perk package, which is called Bird's Eye because it's just broken in the game; it's like three UAVs for the entire game; and then later, if I'm at a buyer station and I have extra money. I'm probably going to buy.

My SMG is like a Fennec or a Lochman. The excerpt teams are so good in those very close quarters, but there have been a few times where they will kind of sell the route when you get caught in that awkward 10 to 15-meter range where you're just a little bit too far and you're too far to hit fire and accurately hit your shots.

But, if you are a super aggressive player and you want to get right in people's faces and kind of use these like a shotgun, the pistols are better. It just depends on how you use them and how they fit with your own playing style. I am getting really aggressive with them and just frying some people inside of buildings with them, so give these a try.
