News - Mw3 Confirmed As Warzone 2 Dlc - Ps5 Version Has No Platinum Trophy
I hope you're having a wonderful week. So Modern Warfare 3 launches this week, yes. I refuse to say that's early access. It's not that you're paying $100 just to gain access to the game early. I know that sounds like early access, but early access is a testing period. This is basically what they did with Gears of War 4, and I believe Battlefield 1.
I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure it's Battlefield 1, where you had to pay extra in order to gain access to the game earlier. It's just the way things are going nowadays, and I can't. I hope that this is going to be a standard for future games because it's basically easy money to just give players early access to the game for a game that's essentially finished, but Modern Warfare 3 does come out this week, and there was a report when it was first announced by Charlie Intel stating this was originally supposed to be DLC for Modern Warfare 2.
And the reason behind that was that they were going to stop yearly releases; they obviously lied about that and instead took the expansion, and now they're releasing it as a $70, or $100, game, which is just what activis blizzard would do. I mean, these are the people who sell skins for $40. Diablo Mortal, despite being a train wreck in the criticism department, makes millions of dollars every day.
It's just like they're going to do whatever makes money; it doesn't really matter. Cood has just become a common household game that people buy annually, and it's eventually going to be. It's basically the Madden in the FIFA of the shooting world. I'm going to get it because I do guides, and these guides really do well for my channel's analytics.
So, I know I'm not helping the problem, but it's my job. I got to do this stuff, and sometimes you got to bite the bullet. But for confirmation, if you still don't believe it, this is DLC Powerplex, which is a great YouTube channel and content creator who basically guides walkthroughs and trophy guides.
I just bought the smoking gun. Cod Modern Warfare 3 on PlayStation 5 doesn't have a platinum trophy It's a DLC list for Modern Warfare 2; only the PS4 version has a standalone list and platinum trophy. What the heck? So if you don't know how the plat the trophy list works for PlayStation, basically you have the core game, which is up here listed as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and everything below that is the expansions for the game, for example, if you got control.
And you got the foundation DLC and the awe expansion; each one will be listed separately, as opposed to Microsoft's Achievement System, where everything's just smashed together; there's no separation. Here it's separated, so if you just get all the trophies from the core game, you can still get the platinum trophy to ensure that players who don't buy the expansions aren't isolated from the platinum trophy; they can still get it even if they don't purchase the expansions, which is a great system in my opinion.
But you can see here that it just basically confirms that this was supposed to be DLC, and they're selling it for $70. I won't show the trophy list if you want to look at it, but regardless, if you still don't believe it, this is basically just confirmation. This was supposed to be DLC; they're selling it for $70, but when the game finally comes out, we'll have, you know, we'll have proof in a lot of ways because, as much as they can argue that this is a full game, the game play will more or less showcase that this probably is not a fully released game; it's actually an expansion, but we have to wait until it comes out because, like I said.
I'm getting it. I do trophy and achievement guides, walkthroughs, and all that stuff, and I need to buy the game. I'm not going to get a review copy. I don't think I've ever gotten a review copy from Activision Blizzard in my life, but it's my job to do it. I know I perpetuate the problem, but you know Call of Duty has died.
A lot of the people who started the franchise what it is gone, and maybe things will get better with Microsoft, but I'm not holding my breath, so there you have it. It is definitely a $70 expansion that we are all probably going to pay for. I love to hear other people's opinions, even if they go against my own; it's the only way you're going to learn about things, but yeah, that's it for me.
I dislike whatever you choose to
