Log in here and welcome back to a new article, and today we're going over the VPN on the new Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2. The simple answer is yes, the VPN works to get bot lobbies on both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. Now, it still only works on PCs because you can't really use a VPN on consoles.
There are ways you can do it on a console, but you have to have a specific router. You can't just do it by loading the VPN on your PC and connecting on console. If you've ever bought from us before, we use Nord VPN, which is able to change your location and put you in easier skill-based matchmaking lobbies.
It works the same exact way as it did in Warzone 1, but this time it actually works for multiplayer. I've noticed the lob has gotten a little bit easier while using the VPN on MW2 multiplayer. I have gameplay where I just walk around and I'm able to kill people with a bull's-eye, you know, because they have a really slow reaction time.
I don't know what the deal is, but you know I have a lot better chance of getting bot lobbies in multiplayer when I use the VPN than when I just play without it, playing it normally, because it does change your location for both Warzone and multiplayer. So if you're playing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and you want to try it out, give it a go.
So, I'll go over the Discord server first. So, all you have to do to get it in the Discord server is join the server; you do have to verify your identity so we don't get a bunch of bots joining. Once you've verified, you can actually go to the VPN section and open a ticket. Once you're in the ticket, you can just ask to buy the VPN, and we'll send you the payment information.
Once you send the money, I'll send you the account login email and password. Now, the accounts are usually good for upwards of 100 to 300 days, so there are like five-month accounts. You know, very rarely will I send you an account that's only got like a month on it. It's usually a very high month for the highest membership account.
Once you get the login email and password, you can just log into Nord, download it for your desktop, or just use the website version. We've been constantly restocking, so we should have some available right now on the web, but if you just want to buy it on the Discord server, you can do that as well.
How does the vpn work?
How does it work well once you get it downloaded and once you have it up on your computer? You just pick a location and connect. Now, some locations are noticed if you're in a different country, locations are hard to connect to so if you connect to a really, really faraway location, sometimes.
It just disconnects you or doesn't connect at all. I've experienced some problems with it connecting, so I always use somewhere close in the United States, like maybe Dallas or something. Servers should work for getting low SBM, but in lobbies, some servers if you're really far away will actually give you a really high ping, so I've tested this in multiplayer and in Warzone 2.
When I search for a lobby in Warzone 2, it sometimes goes up to 200 ping, and I have to wait about five minutes before it actually puts me in a game. Once I'm in the game, I usually have really high ping, or it's just remotely high; it's not really very high, but in my gameplay today I had a 200 ping.
so I knew it was working, and the guys were absolute bots, like these guys were just standing, but I could kill them so easily, so there are two ways to test it. Number one, if your ping goes really high in game, you can test it that way, or you can just go to your account info and look up your account and see if your location changed; that's probably the easiest way to look.
