News - Full Warzone 2 Season 2 Update Road Map. Battle Pass, Weapons, Resurgence, More - Warzone 2
Intro
Welcome back to another news article today. Ashika.
Season 2 operators
So the first thing we got were the operators. So with Call of Duty, they ended up giving us four different photos of artwork for season two. Also, there are two other characters that you see here, as well as Rose with a brand new skin variant, and then you also see Novo with a brand new skin variant.
Most likely, these are going to be the ones that are going to be available in the battle pass, which we'll be talking about in just a second, but these are going to be the new operators that we are going to be seeing with the season 2 update. Likely will be in the store other than Ronan because he's going to be the main character of this entire season, so he's going to be in the battle pass, so going on to the next thing, which is the battle pass Section Road, is going to be available at tier one.
Season 2 battle pass rewards
And, then, at tier 100, there's going to be an additional variant for him, sort of like how it was with Zeus.
I'm not sure what the name is, but you can see a very, very huge difference in terms of the character. So you see that his mask is covering his face; he's wearing a different outfit, and it looks way better than the other one that I showed you, so this is going to be the Tier 100 variant. In terms of rewards, there are always over a hundred different rewards in the battle pass.
There's going to be at least two DLC weapons, so we have five, about which I'll talk about what they could potentially be in the DLC weapon section, but there's going to be two of them that are going to be available in the battle pass. There are also those two Ronin skins that I told you about, as well as the rose variance skin and the novo one.
Because these are not actual brand new skins, they won't be available in the store, but they will be available in the battle pass, where there are going to be some new blueprints. Obviously, some new skins—a lot of them—look like they were teased in the Resurgence trailer. As you can see, there are different operators that we've never seen before as well.
These might also be other ones that will potentially be coming in with the battle pass as well, or maybe later down the line in the store, but anyway.
Season 2 dlc weapons
Let's go on to the next thing that we have, which is DLC and weapons. So in the blog post, it was confirmed to us that instead of four DLC weapons like we got in season one, we're actually going to be getting five this season, so I'm not sure if they're going to do three at the launch of season two and then maybe two more at season two reloaded.
Or if they're going to do it the other way, where they're going to add two first and then three later. I think maybe it's going to be three at first just to add even more content, especially since. I'm not gonna lie, this season 2 update looks like it's really favoring War Zone and Resurgence a little bit more than it's favoring multiplayer.
So multiplayer hasn't really been getting that much news, updates, leaks, or anything regarding content, and especially when we get to the maps, it's going to get a little bit more depressing. So anyways, let's talk about the DLC weapons. So the first one is the crossbow; that one was apparently leaked, and apparently it's going to be coming into season two.
We haven't seen any sort of teasers or anything from Call of Duty themselves about it yet, but expect it to be like a regular crossbow, but with different bolts, and the electrifying trick, fire gas, and all that type of stuff, and then the next one that we have. This one was teased to us two different times through the artwork, so the first time is Ronan carrying it; it's a katana blade, and he's just holding it out like that.
It's pretty obvious that it might be a weapon right here. People will say maybe it's just for the artwork, but when you look at the next photo right here, when you see Ronan, he's holding a weapon, which I believe is the M4, but ignore the weapon and look behind him on his back. He has the same exact Katana once again in his back, so chances are it's going to be a DLC weapon and probably our first melee weapon that we're going to receive here in the game.
This is one I can almost guarantee will be at launch, so we're probably gonna be getting this one as soon as the season 2 update drops, but out of all of them, this one is probably like the biggest guarantee that we're gonna be getting the next one is we have potentially the veper 12 shotgun, for, the reason that we have attachments.
The suppressor for it is actually in the game already as of right now, but it's just not public for you to unlock, so in order to be able to unlock it, you'll obviously need to level up some weapon in order to be able to get this attachment, and chances are it's going to be when the Vapor 12 comes out.
It just makes sense because it matches that shotgun, and they wouldn't add an attachment for a weapon that's not in the game, so that's another one right there, and then there's going to be two other potentials, most likely an AR and an SMG, just because those are the more popular weapon types and we'll probably be seeing those now.
Season 2 maps
Let's talk about the map, unfortunately. Some bad news with maps According to Charlie Intel, he said not to expect more than two maps. Two maps is gonna show that we're going to be getting with season two so we, thought maybe since you know they're adding way more stuff than they usually are five DLC weapons instead of four they're adding a brand new Resurgence, map maybe they're gonna show that same love to multiplayer, and give us an additional map then you know than they did last season because we only got two remakes last season but it seems like based on his Insider information we're only going to be getting two maps, and these devs that are supposed to be creating these maps are actually the ones that are currently working on this ashika.
island, so they're too busy already working on a map so they're not going to be able to focus and give us a brand new one, so that is the issue with that, but not to expect to be added is pretty much guaranteed at this point, but valders. Museum is said to be returning in season two, and now it is considered new for those of you guys who haven't played the beta.
If you've played the beta before, it's not a new map, but we don't know if Call of Duty is going to label it as new content or not as of right now, we have no idea, but this is one of the maps that is going to be returning now depending if it does return. I do believe that they might return it with the launch and then maybe a brand new map with season two reload; it's something like that, but yeah, apparently, two maps are the most that we're going to be getting, and that might be Valders.
