Now let's turn this purple Rarity bottle of pills into the gold Rarity which we need for the pedestal, which you may have guessed by now requires you going through another one of these ether portals this time when you go through this portal you're actually going to see a green portal show up make sure you take the green portal if you have other items in your inventory like I did I had all three of these portals spawn for me make sure for the pills you go through the green portal just like the other two portals, when you get out of this portal you will see some Mist fly down and a brand new contract is going to spawn the purple contract that you need to go and activate, and then for this one you actually are going to go and end up fighting mimics.
And just like the other two versions of these items once you defeat on the mimics a portal will spawn and you'll be able to have the gold pills now that you have all of these different gold items let's go back to where the portal spawns, and insert them into the pedestals, in the correct order as you can imagine each one of these gold items relates to a very particular pedestal the dog collar is going to be on the fire pedestal, the camera is going to be on the lightning pedestal the pills are going to be on the brain Rod pedestal and the Frozen notebook is going to be on the ice pedestal what I'm going to quickly tell you right now is that it was buggy a little bit for me and the person I did this with so it might take you a couple tries and you what you make sure that when you place these items on these pedestals, they start to Glow you'll get a little activation.
Noise when you are placing them in the right part of the pedestal I don't know why there's two different segments for when we were doing it; it just is. I'm sure they're trying to fix that on their end. Hopefully, by the time that this recording and article are out on YouTube, this will actually have been fixed, so it's a lot easier for you guys to just simply place it on the pedestal and not have to think about it twice.
But if and when you open up this portal correctly and have the items in the right spot, they will glow, and then my cut scene didn't show, but this portal will spawn for you. Now be prepared for a very high-level tier 3 bounty, level Mega. Abomination i recommend coming in as prepared as possible and having ways to distract zombies because of this mega-abomination.
As you can see, there's also going to be special zombies that show up as well as a bunch of regular zombies that show up that are all going to be level three. When you do finally end up defeating this thing, you're going to see a bunch of items that drop obviously from Omega Abomination. There can be some good loot but also the more important thing is going to be this Rift that shows up with a Sigil inside of it now the sigil is very important because this is how you're going to open up the dark Ether Portal for you for the very first time obviously you went in there in the story Mission but this is going to be on an entirely, different level, it really is a tier four Zone you'll see a different symbol above them that just shows that they're ether Rift zombies but to get into this actual Rift you see on the bottom left there's a little circle, on the portal that spawns that will allow you to insert one of these sigils, that you just picked up this is a confirmation that you completed.
The Easter egg is for this part, and you don't have to worry about getting the gold items anymore. You can now farm the sigils in the Tier 3 area by going through the Tier 3 contract whenever you're ready to go into the Ether Portal. I highly recommend that you be more kitted than I was in this article and that you bring in way more people than just two.
But now that you're Ked and ready to take on the dark ether, you're going to spawn and immediately see three bunnies that start taking off in very different directions; they're all going to spawn in the same location. One is on top of the castle, one is on a bus that is behind the castle, and the final one is on top of the building where you did the brain-rot pillar in the very beginning of this article the first time you went into the rift in the story Mission.
Now keep in mind that these contracts are all going to be the same every single time they're going to be The Ether Extractor, Contracts, the Outlast, and escort contracts. The rewards are going to vary a lot, as you saw in the clip just a second ago I got absolutely. Nothing of use, but in this one, when I went in the second time.
I actually got the dog bone, which allows you to spawn the highest level hellhound friendly hellhound that you could possibly get in this game. However, these aren't the schematics, and you're really going to want to look for one particular item when you're in this ether rift for the very first time or every other time that you go into this ether rift because this item called the Elder sigil allows you to get to even harder levels of this ether rift.
This whole area can get even harder somehow. But this elder sigil does not drop every single time you go in here. The first time I went into this. I didn't get an elder signature whatsoever, but the second time I did after we completed the final contract. I did get the sigil to drop the person that I played mostly with throughout this entire process didn't get it whatsoever, so it is kind of a rare drop apparently, but I can't stress enough how important getting this sigil is because when you get this elder sigil that looks exactly like this, it looks like the sigil you normally get, but in a circle form, this sigil allows you to go back to the portal and go into the harder levels of the dark ether, which then allows you to do the same contracts, but when you do those contracts, in the elder sigil, part of the dark ether, they will drop the classified.
Contracts which is the golden armor plate, the bone, and the ether blade. We'll talk about that Elder portal here in a second, but now that you've completed all three of these contracts in the dark ether for the first second or whatever time you're going in there, make sure to make your way to the top of the main building in the area and exit the dark ether with the high loot that you did get and your Elder sigil.
Hopefully you got it, so we can now go back to the large portal that spawned on the island so you can go to the other side and start the Elder. Sigil i plan on covering a strategy on how to best go into this port portal because it's that much harder, mostly because of the time limit that you have.
Nonetheless, when you do have an elder sigil and are all kitted up with a big group of six with people that know what they're doing, go to the back side of this portal, and you'll see something that says that you can spend your elder sigil to activate the rift. This is going to be the hardest thing in the game so far, so be fully prepared.
