Best landing spots
I do articles just about every single day for you to try to help you become a better player, and most importantly. I've got two follow-up articles to this one, one covering the midgame and one covering the endgame.
Probably in the next week or so for you now, starting off right here. Let's quickly run through Landing spots out of Mazda City are going to be hot spots, especially in the high-rise area, kind of dead smack in the middle of the hydroelectric It tends to be a hot drop, and you generally have somewhere between two and five teams.
Landing there and at the Observatory is going to be your hottest drop right now. This is your super story for dance, your peeking caldera, your prison, and your rebirth. Next up, we take a look at Marshland. Some of that does depend on the plan now when we talk about strategies.
Strategies
The most important thing to understand in this game is that cash is king because it allows you to buy your primary gun and allows you to buy UAVs, so I'm always landing on one of two contracts: either a bounty contract or a safe cracker contract. This ultimately depends on how aggressive you want to be.
Bounty contracts are great; they give you a little bit more cash, plus you can generally pick up kills. Speaking generally, they don't go too far, and we'll see that here in a second. The other thing I'm focusing on here, and I just want you to keep this in mind, is a vehicle. We all complain about mobility in this game.
It really helps with that, so right here we've got a bounty cut, we've got two bounty contracts, and we've got a car. This is where somewhere like Side City may not be a bad option, and you've got one, two, three, four, five, and six save crackers, and you've got multiple bounty contracts and multiple vehicles; you've got one, two, three, and four trucks, so that's really what I'm weighing.
I'm not necessarily saying, "Let's go to the Observatory Hot Drop." Let's go to Majra, or, like, let's fly all the way out to Quarry. I'm looking at a bounty, a contract, and a car or a safe. Now. I like bounties because it allows me to be a little bit more aggressive; I can pick up a few kills; I get good cash flow at that point; and they take a little bit less time than a safe cracker contract, so we're going to go ahead and land here a little bit uncontested.
Like I said, guys, cash is king. We can't buy loadouts, but we can buy primary guns or even, you know, an AR or an LMG if you have it set up correctly. You can buy an SMG now right here as soon as we land, grab the Bounty contract, and see that they are over in hydroelectric, so this is the balance right here in terms of timing.
We've got three minutes and 50 seconds, and we're in trios right here, so we get 2,500 per person if we kill the bounty; that's 7,500 right there, which allows us to at least buy one primary gun, and if they have any cash, we can also buy a UAV, and I do want to get into that strategy in a little bit now; once we get a gun, this kind of depends on how aggressive you want to be.
You can definitely loot a little bit for a better gun. You can loot for a three-plate vest. But right here, we're going to risk it a little bit. We're going to challenge them without the three-plate vest, assuming that they may not have one either, and they may not have a gun that they're comfortable with now.
We're lucky enough to get a UAV out of a crate. That definitely helps. We get a little bit of proc chat; we're going to go ahead and start to get into this fight now. What did I tell you right here? Hydroelectric we clearly have two different teams right here, so that's just something we want to be aware of.
We're going to go ahead and push up, and when we talk about the early game, guys, play as a squad and don't split until you get your momentum at the earliest. A lot of you probably should be playing together as a team, so, right there, Zack goes down, and I'm going to Quick Revive, but notice the mini map right here.
We've got multiple enemies pushing up right here, and we still don't have three plates, so it's something we do have to keep in mind. I'm going to go down Zach's, I'm going to trade, and we get the team wipe right there, but notice that we still have the Bounty contract, so we don't have a ton of cash flow.
Vehicles
I just want to quickly help you understand that sometimes Bounty might still be flying away if you grab a bounty contract, and you need to find a car because you want to drive over to that person. You don't want the bounty to get poached, and you need the cash from killing him. You need the full cash from killing that person to really get that game going, so now we're going to go ahead and push over to this bounty contract.
We've got one up top, and we can really start to push in. Again, paying attention to this right here, none of us have a vest. We've got to be a little bit more cautious and a little bit more strategic about how much damage we're going to take. We're going to go ahead and take a snapshot so we can go ahead and push on the roof.
One thing I do like about hydroelectricity is that the different levels are now right there, and you have Bounty. Complete notice: for me. I don't really have a ton of kills yet, but overall as a squad, we've probably picked up five or six thus far, and look at our cash right here now; we've got a good cash flow going, so let's go ahead and talk a little bit about.
Gun vs uav
One person on your team to get a primary gun, and of course to get a UAV because, as you know, information is so hard to come by in this game. It's very hard to figure out where people are; the audio isn't great; and we don't have mini-map pings from weapons being fired, so when we get a UAV, that is a huge advantage.
I also want you to pay attention to Zach here. Zach is already thinking ahead. He's going to go ahead and buy a primary gun. I'm going to go ahead and buy a UAV here. Zach is already focusing. On cash flow. Zach's. Pushing over and grabbing that bounty now that Zach is a better player, all three of us are really good players, so he's going to be a little bit aggressive, he's going to push over by himself, but you could easily go, as a squad, and go get that and focus on that cash flow contract, which is going to be super important.
