News - Apex Legends New Updates Challenge Warzone 2

And how they're going to do that and what it means for the future of arena solos and so many other game modes, we're also going to give out 45 bucks. So one of the things that makes Apex Legends great is that it's one of the best battle royales out there, however, you can only play so long before you start craving other game modes, and something that was actually talked about pretty recently from the lead game designer Robert West, who said that the idea of an arcade playlist and that there are considering on putting into the game in the near future and it would rotate through various limited time modes and while they officially said they were just considering we do know that originally gun run and control were both found in the free VM playlist and that there are other game modes coming to it in the very near future such as the game mode that takes place on time Titanfall, two maps that were Dynamite, by Carl rindo and that we also saw early gameplay.

Footage of a game called "Colony," where you score with a ball to gain points, and there are actually two other ones: there is a team death match mode that is about 6v6. And so this very much seems like the direction that Respawn is going to be going, especially. With competition coming out such as Overwatch 2 and the aforementioned War Zone 2, which features a whole host of brand new modes along with new maps, they have a raid session.

DMZ Mode, and the regular Battle Royale comes with solos. duos, trios, and quads, while Apex Legends only comes with trios and duos. We did get a limited-time mode of solos once, but they took it away and never brought it back, which has been one of the worst things that Apex Legends has ever decided to do.

adding new event

We've seen a little bit more information about this as we did get some new two flags put into the game file shown to us by Hypermist, each one representing a legend, with Fuse having a salvo. Ash having an apex predator and Bloodhound having Arturo, the Raven, on his flag seem to indicate that these are ground emotes and will most likely be for a very specific type of game mode, very similar to the way that someone who leaks found different animal icons.

They actually were for the scoring system for Gun Run, but one of the big reasons Apex Legends has been so hesitant about adding an arcade playlist is that they're worried that it's going to further divide the player base. It's actually kind of staggering that we still haven't gotten any new playlists added to the game after 15 seasons.

Wait, correct me, there are actually arenas, but there's one giant pitfall with it: they gave up on it so quickly, with over 60 percent of players in the unranked category, meaning they never even tried to get into bronze or finish their placement matches, and the last time that respawn actually gave us an update was in the midpoint of season 12 during the Warriors collection event, where they added the new Hammond robotics map.

Other than that, the rank system is so horribly broken that I went in and tried it out; as you can see from the gameplay, it's just not very fun, it's not entertaining, and it involves way too much grinding. There are three new Arena maps that were actually leaked all the way back in season 12. Some of them actually looked fairly complete or almost done, but the fact that they have not yet been added to the game makes me think that Arenas isn't going to be lasting at Apex Legends much longer or that it's going to be put into the new rotating playlist.

Don't get me wrong: if you like Arenas, that's really cool for you, but it just hasn't lived up to the hype and expectations that Apex Legends had when they put it in to compete with other games like Ballerina. It just isn't that style of game and doesn't really hold players' attention that well. The biggest issue with season 15 was that other than a new legend and a new map, we didn't get anything new; there were no buffs or nerfs.

There have been no new weapons added, no survival items, or anything that changes the gameplay up either, and when you combine that with the fact that Warzone 2 came out with a bunch of new ways to play their game, it's no surprise that Apex Legends is struggling a bit when it comes to numbers. It will not die; it will come back once they add more content and Warzone 2 hits its inevitable wall.

And while it is cool that Respawn themselves did give us a direct quote, saying that they are working on new game modes and a new playlist, and that's what they're working on, they really need to start being more vocal and telling us when this is going to come, to help tide us over when we get these really slow periods.
